Visa Information

There are various options for visa to enter Indonesia. This information is valid at the moment and is constantly changing, please check to the nearest Indonesian Embassy for the latest updates.

The VoA is a type of visa that allows foreigners to enter and stay in Indonesia for a limited period without needing to apply for a visa in advance. The VoA is typically used for tourism, business, or official visits.

Validity:
The VoA is initially valid for 30 days from the date of arrival.

Extension:
The VoA can be extended once for another 30 days at a local immigration office in Indonesia.

Who is eligible for a VoA?

  • Not all nationalities are eligible. Check the Indonesian Embassy website or the Directorate General of Immigration website for the most up-to-date list of eligible countries.
  • Citizens of certain countries, including Australia, may be eligible.
  • You must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond your intended stay in Indonesia .
  • You must have a return or onward flight booking .

How to obtain a VoA?
At designated entry points: You can obtain the VoA at designated airports, seaports, or land border checkpoints.

Online application:
The Official eVisa website for Indonesia allows for online e-VoA applications.

Requirements:
You will need to present your passport, return or onward flight booking, and pay the VoA fee.

The C9 Visa is designed for individuals attending short-term courses, training programs, or benchmarking activities in Indonesia. It is perfect for professionals, students, or anyone seeking to gain new skills or knowledge during their stay.

Duration Stay:
Up to 60 Days (Extendable for two times, each for 60 Days)

Cost

  • Applying: IDR 4.300.000
  • Extending: IDR 3.300.000

With this visa you can

  • Conduct activities related to benchmarking activities, short courses, or short training program.
  • Conduct activities related to tourism and visiting friends or family.

You must

  • Comply with laws and regulations.
  • Respect local customs, culture, and wisdom.
  • Have sufficient living expenses while in Indonesia.

Other information

  • Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit, engaging in prohibited activities, not complying with visa conditions, and/or not complying with Indonesian laws may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
  • You are prohibited from selling goods or services.
  • You are prohibited from receiving rewards, wages, or any similar from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Document Requirement

  • Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
  • Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
  • A recent color photograph.
  • Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
  • Proof of registration or certificate as a participant in benchmarking activity, short courses, or short training program from government agency or private institution.

Visa Validity

  • This visa must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days from the date of issue.
